GIG Make the Future with Imagination

GIG was on-hand to provide crew catering to leading brand agency Imagination for this year’s Shell Make the Future Live. Held at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 5^th – 8^th July, the festival of ideas and innovation invited millennials to experience, share and contribute to bright energy ideas in action. The mammoth 28,000m2 festival site featured a 2.2m track where cars of the future were created and raced by the world’s top students in the global Shell Eco-marathon competition. With such a sizeable build the GIG team was onsite for five weeks.

• 1 TV showing the World Cup in the dining room

Imagination was keen to work with a trusted caterer who would be able to provide a varied and nutritious menu throughout. Dishes served included: mouth-watering marinated minute steak ciabatta’s with caramelised red onions and whole grain mustard mayo; delicious fresh made chicken pad thai and most importantly tasty Sunday roasts with all the trimmings including goose-fat roast potatoes!

In true GIG style the team at Imagination and all the crew onsite were well looked after; ‘Sausage Friday’ became a thing in honour of popular German crew member Seb, whilst Alexsander had his very own special tray of birthday treats to help him celebrate his special day!
