GIG dish up for 16th year at NTAs

A 70-strong crew, including seven chefs, from GIG were onsite on the day of the event to ensure that a vast array of delicious dishes was freshly prepared and served on time. The team was in action across many key areas at the event including the pre-show reception all nominees and the after- show party.

On the menu was a mouth-watering selection of canapes, bowl food and tempting desserts, these included Parma ham on truffle polenta with a Parmesan & balsamic reduction; char sui pork belly, burnt butter mash, enoki mushrooms, and apple pickle; miso baked cod, sweet pea purée and crisp parsnip, and a salted caramel mousse with vanilla cream and butterscotch popcorn. Whilst a selection of drinks and snacks were also provided for the star treatment press and green rooms.

Commenting on the catering provided by GIG, long-standing client, Robyn-Marie Towle, event producer at Indigo Television said:

Nicole and the team really are great to work with, from creation of menus to advice on numbers, glass hire and staff, the whole process is easy with GIG. The food quality is exceptional, the team they provide are professional beyond belief and I will be going straight back to them for my next event!
