New leadership team for Global Infusion Group
Bonnie May, previously GIG’s global operations director, takes on the role of CEO and Richard Duff joins the company as managing director as the business emerges from the pandemic.
Following the successful delivery of a high-end catering operation within Hotel Bell Tent’s glamping area at Carfest’s North and South last year, GIG was delighted to support again in 2019. Renowned for creating boutique camps for the UK’s best outdoor events, Hotel Bell Tent offers event goers a touch of luxury away from the crowds. Partnering with GIG allows them to offer their guests and festival goers an upmarket dining experience.
The restaurant area was created using a stunning Tipi structure which created the perfect ambience for the festival environment, it was beautifully lit up with festoon at night.
A 25-strong GIG team headed to both sites and included a hospitality manager, chefs, front of house staff members and kitchen porters. Over the course of the two weekends they served an incredible 5,255 breakfasts which included full English, fresh yoghurts, cereals and a toasting station, providing the luxury feel that Hotel Bell Tent’s guests are used to. The team also served tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water for the duration of the festival which were all complimentary. In addition to this, GIG provide a gourmet pub style offering throughout the day for guests to sit down and enjoy a delicious hot meal and a boozy hot chocolate for the parents.
As you would expect from any high-end accommodation, the restaurant also served an impressive selection of paid for snacks and meals which were also delivered by team GIG. These included; delicious curries with gourmet burgers, stone baked pizzas, curries, pasta and delicatessen style salads and sandwiches, along with dishes specifically for the younger diners. The whole experience was set up perfectly for families to share and enjoy.
