Eat to the Beat delivered catering to Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust sites throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, ensuring that NHS staff were well fed during the crisis.

At its height, more than 1,200 meals a week were prepared and cooked in our kitchen facility in Chesham. These were then delivered to 15 separate sites throughout Buckinghamshire. This convenient service negated the need for additional kitchens to be built and was also incredibly safe due to the non-contact nature of its delivery.

Meals were wrapped and served individually to eliminate contamination and included numerous options, catering for all dietary requirements and palates. This included pre-packaged hot and cold breakfast choices; a variety of chilled mixed salad boxes and hot meals that were easy to reheat in the microwave, and a selection of cakes, desserts and fresh fruit.

We also offered guidance and support regarding the safety of the catering provision, supplying pre-packed cutlery and signage. Where required, additional refrigeration and microwaves, were also supplied.
