Two female directors from Buckinghamshire-based Global Infusion Group have been shortlisted in the prestigious National Business Women’s Awards 2019.  Bonnie May and Mary Shelley-Smith are the global operations directors of GIG and Eat to the Beat, the event catering arms of the internationally renowned event catering, hospitality and logistics specialist. Finalists in the International Women’s Award and Service Excellence categories respectively, both have been with the company for nearly 30 years.

GIG is the name behind world-class catering and hospitality experiences, it has an international reach but with a personal touch. For 35 years it’s led the way working with some of the biggest brands and artists, on major events. Whilst Eat to the Beat has been catering headliners since 1984! Rock stars, actors and major brands have all been enticed by its delicious food, friendly and professional approach and ultra-efficient equipment and logistics services in often unusual locations with a non-traditional supply chain.

The National Business Women’s Awards are made up of 21 categories and strive to raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising business women throughout the UK. The glittering award ceremony will be held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington, London on Thursday 12th December.
